Business Situation

VELCOM’s customer was bidding for a contract for the Testing Portal Development Project from one of its customers, who are a leading bank in Indonesia. The project was to be developed on Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal (MOSS). VELCOM’s customer was looking at evaluating & selecting the right MOSS vendor to partner with for this project.

Solution

VELCOM team studied the RFP to understand the key project requirements and shortlisted the MOSS vendors. The key project requirements include:

• Improve the efficiency & effectiveness of software testing (include increasing the predictability of test quality), and at the same time reduce the cost of testing
• Provide a roadmap for implementing the improvement
• Propose a recommendation for the automation that best fit our needs including objective advice on the test tool selection
• Develop a Testing Portal
