About Customer

The customer is the first integrated and largest in Tamilnadu, produces right from iron ore to heavy duty structural. The customer is engaged in manufacturing of international standard heavy size structural of Beams & Channels with annual capacity of 1, 80,000 MT. Apart from the main steel division, the customer has a coal based 8 MW captive power plant. The business is developed and promoted by a group of leading industrialists who where the pioneer in the iron and steel industry in South India.

Business Situation

The customer has implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV version 4.0 for its Financial & SCM operations. But the company hasn’t realized complete ERP benefits and has many challenges in the areas of statutory compliance, MIS etc., The company was interested to address the above challenges through the Microsoft Dynamics NAV version 4.0 to 2009 (Role Tailored Client) migration project initiative.   • NAV object migration (from 4.0 to 2009 classic) excluding RTC
  • Object testing with test data
  • Data migration

  • User training of NAV 2009 (including RTC)
